Synopsis :
As one might expect in a Bollywood drama/love story/action film, the main leads, Dusant (Shahrukh) and Jaya (Raveena), along with Sujit (Mohnish Behl) and Nisha (Navneet Nishan) are childhood friends. Dusant wants to be a singer, but money is scarce. Jaya comes to the rescue and helps him reach his goal. However when success goes to Dusant's head, the two drift apart. Sujit and Nisha take unfair advantage of the situation and not only cause more problems between Dusant and Jaya, but Nisha's father Kamlesh Dhingra (Avtaar Gill), approaches Dusant for financial help, only to be turned out by Dusant's mentor, Rajpal (Kiran Kumar).
(With friends like these, who needs enemies?) The drama escalates when Dhingra and Sujit hatch a plan whereby Sujit and Nisha get married and Rajpal is killed. While the plan is starting to go into action, Dusant becomes privy to the devious plot and Sujit becomes the murder victim instead. The investigating police officer Rahul (Amit Kumar) enters the scene at this juncture. While the investigation is under way, another murder victim is found, namely Nisha. Now the heat is on.
But before those two murders can be solved, there is yet a third, Nisha's father. We ask then, where will this world of love, murder, betrayal, and revenge end? Who is the murderer? What is his motive? Could it be Dushant avenging his betrayal? Do Dushant and Jaya get back together? And if they do, will the love that they once had enable them to conquer all that is against them?
