Synopsis :
Believe it or not, the king of comedy is back in action, sure to keep audiences in hilarity. The one and only Govinda is all set to be seen on the big screen again, after failing to ignite the fire at the box-office with his last release Ek Aur Ek Gyarah. His newest is Raja Bhaiya, costarring Aarti Chabria, Sadashiv Amrapurkar, Kiran Kumar, and introducing Kanishkaa Kapoor.
As it seems, Raja Bhaiya will be one of Govinda’s last comedy films, but is sure to be the icing on the cake. During a recent film screening, when asked if there should be any changes made to the film, Govinda simply replied, "It's perfect. No suggestions." Lets hope Govinda can come out with a complete entertainer this time around.
The film is directed by Director Raman Kumar, completing the filming of the movie in an astounding 38 days. The backdrops of the film include the beautiful Hyderabad, and the city life of Mumbai. The music of the film, composed by Nadeeem-Shravan, has been described as outstanding, as Govinda himself has sung a number himself.
The movie is about a brahmachari boy, Raja, who is a mama’s boy; he does anything and everything his mother wants him to do. His life takes a turn, when his mother saves a girl, Aarti, about to die in a train accident. Instead of finding the girl’s parents, the mother brings the girl home because the girl has lost her memory, unable to recollect where she is from. In addition, it appears the girl is mentally unstable.
So Aarti stays at the house, and Raja attempts anything he can to get her out of the house. However, the more he tries, the closer the girl feels towards him. This lasts to a point when the mother decides the two should get married, but despite Raja’s furious disapproval, the two are married. On the wedding night of the two, the house catches on fire, and the girl miraculously saves Raja’s mother from the fire... opening Raja’s eyes and causing him to finally fall in love with this stranger. Raja and Aarti grow close as their marriage continues, however, the unexpected occurs when Aarti’s uncle and aunt discover their niece, and take her away from her home when Raja is gone. Raja’s quest to bring his wife back home is what makes this film a hilarious entertainer, as he disguises himself as a mental doctor, and will go as far as possible to get what he wants.
