Synopsis :
ACP Karan(Sunny Deol) is a honest police officer with the aim to eliminate the disease of crime.ACP Arjun Singh(Om Puri). Arjun Singh who has two months to retire is suffering from an acute fear as he has recently lost his partner (Dara Singh)in a terrorist attempt to kill the CM. Arjun Singh fears are further accenuated when he is partnered with ACP Karan Singh who gets himin life threatening situations ona daily basis.Thing get personal when ACP Karan meets and falls in love with Kajal(Preity Zinta) who is the Arjun Singh's daughter.Arjun Singh is against his daugther marrying a police officer on fear that she will become a young widow as ACP Karan daily encounters make him a sore thorn in underworld don Gawa Firozi (Jackie Shroff) and his brother Sikander(Mukesh Tiwari).In the process of chasing the criminals ACP Karan catches Sikander with Kajal as the sole witness to reveal him as the murderer. Against her dad's wishes Kajal decides to marry Karan and go againts her dad's wishes.Gawa Ferozi lays down a plot to destroy ACP Karan by defaming himand have his family and wide loosefaith in him.Is Karan able to prove his innocence.
