Synopsis :
Anu (Bipasha Basu) has suffered a depressive set back after her sister and her sister’s husband were killed in the September 11th attacks. She held a bright future prior but had been looming in depression ever since. Her parents hope that marriage would set her soul free from the dark walls of depression and arrange for her to marry Arpit (Priyanshu Chatterjee). Arpit is the epitome of success and later travels to the U.S. on a major financial project.

Things seem gung ho for Anu and Arpit, but during a time of brief separation, Anu meets Aman (John Abraham), who works for an anti-terror organization. Anu is quickly drawn to Aman, for his savvy attitude, his honesty and his career. Anu becomes almost over endowed by him and refuses to continue with the marriage to Arpit. When the time comes for her to do so, she plunges into insanity and is diagnosed with a disease. Madhoshi deals with Anu’s infatuation with Aman and what caused it and the emotional ramifications that accompany it.
