Synopsis :
Power in the hands of wrong people gives birth to anti-social activites. These politicians are the biggest threat to our society. One such criminal donning the garb of a politician is Daata Guru(Amrish Puri). while one of his sons Karan(Akshay Kumar) is not a part of his notorious activites nor is he aware of his father's true identity chhoti Bahu(Jaya Prada), Datta Guru's Daughter in law, is a widow.In order to put an end to Daata Guru's wants to win unopposed. To teach Master dinanath onment and Master Dinanath is rendered helpless. Even Master Dinanath's brother as S.P.(MukeshKhanna), fails to do anything of note. Shankar(Dharmendra) works for Daata Guru, He never fails to raise his voice against injustice. Tulsi(Karisma Kapoor) is his sister. Tulsi and Karna are in love. Shankar foils Gumaan singh's bid to rape Chhoti Bahu and to avoid further threats to her dignity, ties the knot with choti Bahu against Daata Gir's wish. This results in a rift between Karan and Tulsi but when Karan comes to know the truth, he leaves his father's house and starts residing in shankar's house. Daata Guru is furious and unleashes a rein of terror in the village. This tussle between the village and Daata Guru is no larger a struggle, it's a war. Who'll be the victor?
