Synopsis : Yeh Hai Jalwa, starring brawny Salman and lissome Amisha, is a ludicrous comedy with a dose of crass and slapstick humor that hardly invokes any laughter. The film is the story of a son’s search for his father.

Raju (Salman) is a happy-go-lucky guy whose fun-filled life is thrown into confusion after he comes to know that his father (whom he had presumed dead) is alive and is in fact among the richest businessmen in U.K. He leaves his home in Mumbai and flies to London in search of his father Rajesh Mittal (Rishi Kapoor).

After he arrives in London, Raju is surprised to see that his father already has a family comprising of a loving wife Smita (Rati Agnihotri) and a cute daughter Rinki (Rinkie Khanna). Raju approaches Mittal family with the hope of finding a place in his father’s heart but he fails. Rajesh Mittal is too adamant to accept Raju even as his illegitimate son.

Meanwhile, Raju also bumps into lissome Sonia (Amisha Patel), falls in love with her, and also gets to dance around the trees with her once in a while when he is not winning over the Mittal family. .
